Understanding the Business Value of Diversity and Inclusion (2014)

The purpose of the Diversity Value Index (DVI) is to provide a new standard for identifying the value of diversity in the workplace and to provide a research informed framework of diversity that can be used as the basis of an organizational benchmark. The DVI applies information from advanced academic/practitioner research and robust statistical analysis to examine the correlation between diversity and inclusion, or D&I, practices and business performance. Through an understanding of the DVI Framework and the Diversity Action Core (DAC) organizations can begin to make a connection between the D&I function and the value it adds to a business.
