Steve Goldberg is Bersin & Associates’ principal analyst and advisor covering HR and people systems. He has held HR technology-related roles for more than 25 years, including serving as global leader of HR systems and talent management processes for major investment banks in the U.S. and Europe, directing global HCM product strategy at PeopleSoft, co-founding a recruiting solutions firm, and building an HR M&A function for a major industry consolidator. Invited to the Human Capital Institute's 2009 Executive Roundtable of 10 Respected HR Thought Leaders, Goldberg has written for HR Executive and Workforce Management magazines. In recent years, Goldberg has been advising both end customers and HR solution providers on maximizing the value of their HR technology assets, including advising more than 20 HR solution providers around the globe and holding board advisor appointments at recently funded companies providing enterprise recruiting, compensation, learning, performance management and coaching solutions. He holds an MBA in HR and a bachelor’s in industrial psychology.
