Richard Oyen is the vice president of human resources at SumTotal Systems and has 20 years of experience in HR and organizational development at both large enterprise and SMB-level companies including Oracle, Walgreens and Keynote Systems. He has also worked as an adjunct professor of human resources management at the University of San Francisco. Oyen is SPHR certified and has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He has published articles and submitted contributions to SHRM magazine, the San Francisco Examiner, USA Today, HR magazine, HR.com, SHRM India, industry journal The Grapevine and Payroll and Human Resources magazine.
