Staffing Services Provider Changes Name

San Diego — Jan. 3

Smart-Tek Solutions Inc., a PEO and staffing services provider, has changed its name to Trucept Inc.

The name Smart-Tek represented the company's business prior to 2009 that delivered high-tech security based services. CEO Brian Bonar said the company's new name better reflects the current business model of delivering customized processing services to business owners, which allows them to focus their energy on creating ways to grow and capitalize on their own business concept.

The company also operates the Solvis brand of staffing in both Michigan and California.
