Las Vegas – March 30

HR information management’s sharpest minds will share real-world solutions, timely ideas and innovative perspectives to help companies and professionals remain competitive at the International Association for Human Resource Information Management’s (IHRIM) 2010 Conference and Technology Exposition.

Industry experts and senior-level practitioners — who know firsthand the issues and challenges facing HR and HRIM professionals — will discuss talent management, Web 2.0, learning management systems, SaaS, data management, metrics, and HR technology strategy. They also will provide advice on how to leverage technology functionalities and do more with less given today’s economic climate.

“Whether you are new to the industry or a seasoned veteran, the IHRIM conference provides you with new ideas, practical tips and up-to-the minute solutions for your HR technology and information management needs,” said Lynne Mealy, IHRIM’s president and CEO. “Our interactive iStream sessions promote informative exchanges with industry experts and colleagues, and include topics such as HR portals, HR data warehousing, implementing an HR technology strategy, Web 2.0 and understanding emerging HR technologies.”

IHRIM’s 30th conference, held from May 2-5 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, offers more than 55 educational programs and six pre-conference seminars that are approved for Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP) and Human Resource Certification Institute credit hours.  Attendees can take IHRIM’s Certified Human Resource Information Management Professional (HRIP) preparatory course on Saturday, May 1 and the certification exam on Sunday, May 2.

Some of the world’s leading companies – Coca-Cola Enterprises, Johnson Controls, Novo Nordisk Incorporated, Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Time Warner Cable, The Pantry, Inc, Comcast, Symantec Corporation, and Herman Miller, among others – will share their insights on HR technological solutions that deliver results for attendees’ organizations and careers. Complementing the educational series is the Exposition Hall, which features displays and demonstrations of the newest HR technology solutions by product and service leaders.  For registration information, visit www.ihrim.org.
