Job Matching Services Partner to Launch Career Boot Camp

New York — Feb. 6

TheLadders, a job-matching service, in partnership with StreetWise Partners, launched its inaugural Career Boot Camp Saturday in Manhattan. The collaboration supported talent and economic growth in New York City for members of StreetWise Partners, which provides job skills training and career mentoring for candidates facing multiple employment barriers.

The event featured a panel discussion with Alex Douzet, president and co-founder, TheLadders; Ware Sykes, vice president of sales and services, TheLadders; and StreetWise Partners' board members Orlando Ashford, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, Marsh & McLennan Cos., and Singleton Beato, senior vice president, diversity and inclusion strategy of talent development, American Association of Advertising Agencies.

Following the panel, TheLadders' career advisers and resume writers conducted workshops to provide one-on-one advice to trainees and mentors. Topics included personal branding, effective networking and job applications.
