Expanded Event to Connect All Elements of Human Capital Management

Las Vegas, June 26— The Human Capital Media (HCM) Group, a division of MediaTec Publishing Inc., publisher of Chief Learning Officer, Talent Management and Diversity Executive magazines, has announced its Talent Strategies 2012 conference will be held Feb. 27 – 28 at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in New Orleans.

Themed “Creating the Organization of the Future: Meeting Tomorrow’s Challenges Today,” the two-day conference will connect all of the elements of strategic human capital management through a cutting-edge program expected to be attended by 250 senior professionals.

“This is a new and exciting concept for us,” said Trey Smith, HCM director of event development. “Based on extensive research of magazine readers and past event attendees, we’ve built morning sessions filled with fascinating keynotes and panel discussions, followed by afternoons focused on attendees’ choice of four tracks: talent acquisition, employee development, workforce performance and talent strategy.”

  • Sylvia Ann Hewlett, president of theCenter for Work-Life Policy, author of “Winning the War for Talent in Emerging Markets: Why Women Are the Solution” and member of the World Economic Forum Council on Women’s Empowerment.
  • Futurist and author Jim Carroll, an expert in creativity and innovation whose clients include Northrop Grumman, Rockwell Collins, Lincoln Financial, the Walt Disney Co. and NASA.
