Flexible Benefit Service Corp. Boosts Relationship with Health Care Service Corp.

Rosemont, Ill. — March 15

Flexible Benefit Service Corp. (Flex) announced it has enhanced its relationship with Health Care Service Corp. (HCSC) to provide integrated Health Savings Account (HSA) services. Originally launched to a select group of small-market producers in 2009, FlexHSA Plan is now available to the small and middle markets for Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) plans in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

As an HSA vendor listed directly on the BCBS employer application, FlexHSA Plan seeks to make the process seamless for employers and their employees. Employers with less than 2,000 employees that choose a qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP) from BCBS can also select FlexHSA Plan, which begins the enrollment process for participating employees.

With FlexHSA Plan, employers are able to coordinate funding and employee contributions, track enrollment rates, and update employee information using an online portal.

Participating employees also receive many tools to support their HSA experience, including:

- 24/7 secure, online account access at www.flexhsaplan.com
- The FlexMoney MasterCard debit card
- ClaimsVault
- Online calculators for planning contributions and projecting account balance
- Portfolio Online, offered by custodian Millennium Trust Co., provides self-directed investment platform and ability to buy, sell and hold various investments
